Harapan Baru
Harapan Baru – New Hope follows the women peacebuilders of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, whose lives have been shaped by conflict, disaster, displacement and recovery. Through a 30-minute documentary and accompanying digital storybook produced for UN Women Indonesia, the project shares intimate portraits of women who have transformed memories of struggle into solidarity, leadership and hope.
Centred on the Women, Peace and Security agenda, the film and storybook highlight how women are not only survivors of crisis, but active agents of peace — rebuilding trust, supporting their communities and shaping a more resilient future.
